Tipo de proxecto: particular

Posto: investigadora

Duración: marzo 2020 – actualidade

Co-autoría: Francisco Miguel Ojeda-García (Universidad de Granada)

Descrición: Taking an interdisciplinary approach as the main strategy, the aim of this project is to understand how the mangaesque has become a transnational concept, acting as an innovative and effective mechanism that articulates different media to actualize worldwide narratives, tropes and structures. Nevertheless, not only the CSM-ID project is mainly focused on the analysis of transtextuality, but it is also concerned with other aspects involved in the communication processs, such as reception, encoding, or media themselves. Moreover, an ultimate goal of this project is to examine the power of the mangaesque to actualize, transform and globally expand Japan’s sociocultural coordinates, becoming an essential transcultural learning tool. The methodology is varied, given the interdisciplinary (almost holistic) nature of this research, which comprehends a wide range of fields such as Translation, Comparative Literature, Social Anthropology or Film Studies.
